Meet Trousdale County's Newest Deputy

Deputy Garrett Chaney graduated from Basic Police School at the Tennessee Law Enforcement Training Academy on Friday, March 27. Chaney completed a 12-week course of instruction covering topics required for a Tennessee law enforcement cadet. Chaney will return to the Sheriff鈥檚 Office as a Deputy and will begin field training with a training officer. He will be assigned as a Patrol Deputy. Deputy Chaney was presented his certificate by Commerce and Insurance Secretary Carter Lawrence and Academy Director Rafael Bello.
