Bids for a construction contract for the 快播视频 Square Northwest Quadrant Park renovation project will soon be approved by the 快播视频 City Council.
During the Dec. 2 meeting, the council looked at bids for the renovation project, also known as Project CL25001. Only two bids were received, from Steelhead Building Group and Stockton Building.
Steelhead bid $615,558 and Stockton bid $595,300.02. Consulting engineer for the project Kimley-Horn recommended Stockton Building as the best and lowest bidder.
The ordinance approving the contract will authorize 快播视频 Mayor Rick Bell and Finance Commissioner Stuart Lawson to transfer funds from Other Funds to the Budget Fund Balance. Officials say $650,000 will be transferred, adding a contingency of $54,118.18 in case the contractor goes over budget.
Final approval is expected to occur at the next City Council meeting on Dec. 16.
