Mr. William Donald 鈥淒on鈥 Roddy, 59, of Castalian Springs, Tennessee, passed away Saturday, June 7, 2025.
Don was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, son and friend.
He was preceded in death by his father, William Howard Roddy; and sister, Jackie Ann Roddy.
He is survived by his loving wife, Peggy Swoner Roddy, of Castalian Springs; two sons, William G. Seth Roddy, of Castalian Springs, and Joshua Ray, of Red Boiling Springs, Tennessee; two daughters, Chelsea (Bryce) Farley, of Lafayette, Tennessee, and Alycia Ellwager, of Shelbyville, Tennessee; grandchildren, Makenna Farley and Ty Farley: mother, Billie Ruth Scott Hodges; sister, Linda Roddy, of Castalian Springs; brother, Ronald Roddy, of Castalian Springs; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and cherished friends.
Don loved the land and spent much of his life working with cattle and crops on the family farm. Above all, he loved being a father and grandfather and found great joy in his family. Don was also known for his generous spirit always ready to lend a hand to neighbors and friends in need. He was also active in supporting his community.
Funeral services was held in the chapel of Anthony Funeral Home Wednesday, June 11, 2025. Interment followed on the family farm.
Don鈥檚 legacy of kindness, hard work and deep love for his family will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
