As early voting begins for the May 5 Wilson County primary, here is the list of candidates. The primary is only for party-affiliated candidates seeking the party nomination for the Aug. 6 general election, Independent candidates will only be voted on during the general election.
During the primary election, voters will only choose one candidate for each office. Most positions up for election this year have uncontested candidates in the primary; however, a few races have more than one candidate seeking the party nomination.Ìý
A space for voters to write-in a candidate will be listed under each position.
